Dummy Cloud download links have been updated to version 3.1.2.
Version 3.1.2 fixes compatibility issues between certain network interface cards and the USB version of Dummy Cloud.

An update package is also available for download.

We are extremely happy to announce that version 3.0 of Dummy Cloud WAN Emulator is available for download and purchase.
Version 3.0 upgrades the base OS and impairment engine to the latest versions and adds exciting new features such as:

• Variable Bandwidth to emulate dynamic bandwidth environments such as satellite, CIR/BIR environments etc
• Variable MAC Overhead to emulate delays caused by layer 2 effects.
  

It also lays the ground work for more planned features.

We are also providing more versions of the Dummy Cloud VM, so that it fits any budget and requirement.
The 3.0 Base (Free) version, no longer has a time limit!  Download it and check it out!

Very detailed howtos, describing the process of importing and configuring the virtual Dummy Cloud in VMWare's Workstation, Server and ESX/i products are now posted on the site.

We are very happy to have our virtual WAN Emulator listed in VMWare's Virtual Appliance Marketplace!!
Since last week, a virtual offering pre-configured with the correct kernel parameters and loaded with open-vm-tools has been available for download from our site.  This allows both IT admins and cloud developers to test their applications on a full featured WAN emulator with very little effort and no upfront investment.

The free version is full featured so why not take it out for a spin?
